Funding

The term after a child’s third birthday most children are entitled to 15 hours of free entitlement government funding per week for 38 weeks (more information here). Kaleidoscope will apply for this on your behalf unless informed differently.

Some families are entitled to 30 hours (more information here)

Some two year old children may be eligible for free entitlement funding, we can help you apply for this if you meet certain criteria (more information here).

For more information on all funding visit the government website

Pre-schoolies

During the summer term we offer an additional session for children who will be moving on to primary school in September. We deliver a structured programme including visits from reception class teachers, PE sessions, phonics practice and trips to the child’s allocated primary school.

Our main feeder school is Petworth Primary School although we will organise a transition programme for all local primary schools.

What Our Parents Say

"Kaleidoscope preschool is a fantastic setting. The staff are amazing, most of them have been there for 10+ years which speaks volumes! The children are nurtured and looked after whilst doing super fun activities. The communication from the team is excellent, receiving regular updates on what your child is doing in the day plus responses to emails within an hour or two. Having worked in early years myself I have very high standards and with previous settings have regularly felt the need to raise concerns however with kaleidoscope they just seem to nail it. " H Bridge

"I have two children at kaleidoscope. One has recently just left for summer holidays and then starts school in September. I could not of asked for a better nursery for them both. They have encouraged them to be resilient, outgoing and caring. The staff are brilliant and made it environment my children loved. I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough." J Marks

"We love it here! such kind and friendly staff. my daughter has improved in her confidence and really enjoys going to pre school. you can definitely leave your children here in a safe, warm and friendly environment knowing that their needs are met." A Woodcock
